Joanne, Emma, Ben, Georgie and Annabel enjoying pizza on the beach on Aride to celebrate the end of the seabird census. It was top pizza.

A Seychelles skink on the path in Aride. There are millions of these on the island - they're about 10cm long and they get everywhere. The birds can occasionally be seen making off with the skinks' tails, which continue to twitch in their beaks.

JP on the beach in Aride, Seychelles, where we'll be spending the next three months looking at and after birds. You can see the island of Praslin in the background.
