Joanne at her svelte best on the beach in La Digue parading the latest Dorothy Perkins fashions.

The view from the beach just along from Anse Source D'Argent in La Digue. They try and charge you 2 quid each (in pounds due to the poxy nature of the local currency and their over-riding desire to get their grubby hands on the hard stuff) to get in here but the beach itself is a public area. Therefore we waded round a helipad in the sea to get here, carrying our bikes, and I think it was well worth it.

Madagascar Fody not included. This was taken on La Digue in Gregoire's legendary supermarket which claims to have the things you can't otehrwise get in the Seychelles but is mostly full of Chinese tinned mushrooms.

Helicopter delivering fuel to Aride. These chaps turned up on a Friday morning, picked up thirty 200 litre barrels of petrol and diesel from a ship anchored just south of the island and dumped them on the beach. Apparently they could've just landed the boat on the beach but there are rats on boats and none on Aride and if they got here, they'd kill all the nice wildlife. Amazing stuff.
