JP by Little Virginia Water and the totem pole, on a pleasant Monday evening in June. It's nice round our way.

View of the Long Walk from the statue of George III in Windsor Great Park (see below) to Windsor Castle (see end of path in photo). It's 2.7 miles long, you know.

We walked from our house to Windsor through Windsor Great Park on Saturday and it was excellent. We found this statue of George III on a pile of rocks at the end of the Long Walk that leads to Windsor Castle. He's dressed up as a Roman emperor. I would too, I think, if I was a mad king.

We went to Glyndebourne, you know. It's terribly nice. We went to see Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte, which was tremendously good. It did rain, though, which wasn't really cricket, and meant we had to have our picnic on the balcony of the opera house and then run to the car to warm up. It's a lovely spot.

Pre-match shenanigans before the League Two playoff final at Wembley. We're in the Shrewsbury town end. The big empty sections of seats you can see belong to the Club Wembley members who buy the right to sit in the seats for every game that's played. Obviously very few of them appreciate the subtle art of League Two football.

Keith's mum with a Shrewsbury Town flag on the way to Wembley. We went to see the mighty Shrews play Bristol Rovers int he League Two playoff final. The Shrews lost 3-1 but it was a cracking game and the stadium was pretty good. I might go so far as to say nearly as good as Fratton Park.
